The Cybersecurity Team
Do you get all excited when you hear terms like vulnerability assessment, penetration tests, security verification processes, or intrusion detection? If so; you are in the right place. Our Cybersecurity Team spends every waking (and sleeping) minute detecting security threats before they happen. Join the band and help us build ultra-secure payments technology for our customers.
As a Tapster you will:
- Assist in the analysis of security alerts and investigate possible security incidents.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and breaches, including triaging and escalating as needed.
- Support incident investigations and provide recommendations for mitigating risks and preventing recurrence.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage ongoing risk mitigation efforts.
- Document security incidents, mitigation efforts, and lessons learned.
- Generate periodic reports on security posture, incidents, and risk assessments for management.
- Collaborate with IT, network, and other departments to ensure alignment on security policies and practices.
- Contribute to internal security awareness programs by educating staff on security best practices.
- Carry out other duties, as assigned based on the demands of the business and growth of the role
What you will bring to the party:
- 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or similar function.
- Hands-on experience with security operations tools and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS or Azure.
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of network security concepts, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and incident response processes.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting logs and security events.
- Strong communication skills in English, with a preference for Arabic language ability.
- Ability to establish credibility and build internal relationships.
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic fintech environment.
- Problem-solving, quick-thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and follow daily tasks.
- Awareness of how your role supports the business’s strategic goals.
- Skills to actively participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
- Ability to deliver work on time with attention to detail.
- Understanding client/merchant/stakeholder care and its importance in cybersecurity.
- Saudi nationality is a mandatory requirement
