The Business Team
The Business Team is the driving force behind revenue generation for our organization. Comprising sales professionals, account managers, and business development specialists, this team is responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities. They engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and provide solutions that align with customers' needs.
The Business Team plays a pivotal role in the growth and sustainability of your business. They are on the front lines, connecting with customers, understanding their requirements, and ultimately converting leads into satisfied clients
As a Tapster you will:
- Identify, target, and acquire high-value enterprise merchants and platforms across sectors such as travel, insurance, marketplaces, SaaS, and financial services.
 - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to win large enterprise clients and drive transaction growth.
 - Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting, pitch, and proposal development through to negotiation, contracting, and go-live.
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, issuers, acquirers, and payment scheme partners.
 - Position the company as a trusted payments partner by delivering tailored commercial and technical solutions that improve acceptance and conversion.
 - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to structure deals that meet both merchant needs and regulatory standards.
 - Expand the company’s enterprise footprint across GCC and North Africa through proactive market development and pipeline management.
 - Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and revenue forecasting using CRM tools, and report regularly on deal performance and commercial outcomes.
 
What you will bring to the party:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred.
 - 7–10 years of enterprise B2B sales experience within fintech, payments, or acquiring.
 - Proven record of acquiring and managing large enterprise merchants and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
 - Strong understanding of card acquiring, payment gateways, alternative payment methods, and local scheme integrations.
 - Ability to navigate complex deal structures and engage confidently with C-level stakeholders.
 - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
 - Deep knowledge of the GCC payments ecosystem, regulatory frameworks, and key market players.
 - Results-driven with a strong hunter mindset.
 - Strategic thinker with strong commercial and financial acumen.
 - Skilled relationship builder across technical and business functions.
 - Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
 - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
