The GRC Team
The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Team is a dedicated group of professionals who diligently navigate the complex world of financial regulations. They ensure our unwavering commitment to regulatory compliance and the highest industry standards, designing robust risk management strategies, and cultivating a culture of transparency and accountability. In an ever-evolving landscape, the GRC Team safeguards our company and clients from potential risks, making every payment a testament to our dedication to ethical conduct and responsible financial practices.
As a Tapster you will:
- Have a strong background in risk management and a proven ability to lead and execute these responsibilities effectively.
- Develop and maintain documentation for risk management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead risk identification and assessment processes for all departments, products and third parties ensuring comprehensive coverage of potential risks.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to prevent, eliminate, and mitigate risks, in alignment with the Company’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and update Risk Appetite statements and Risk Tolerances for potential risks faced by the Company.
- Develop and monitor key risk and control indicators to enhance risk management practices.
- Establish and maintain a risk register for all departments, monitoring risk profiles and targets to ensure effective risk management.
- Investigate root causes of incidents and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Analyze operational risk losses across the organization, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners, addressing concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Drive the development of risk management capability, competency, and capacity across operational levels through facilitation, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Enable the first and second lines of defense to effectively manage risk by providing advice, tools, training, and independent challenges.
- Facilitate the implementation of systems to accurately define, monitor, and analyze risk profiles, control strategies, and effectiveness.
- Conduct business impact analysis and stress testing exercises to assess the Company’s resilience to various risk scenarios.
- Perform data analysis and build the required risk and fraud models.
- Prepare and present Risk Management reports to the Senior Management and board level Committees Qualifications.
What you will bring to the party:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance or any other area related to Risk Management. Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Risk Management preferably from Payment Services, Banks or other Financial Institutions (Banks, Insurance Companies etc.)
- Strong background in risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing strategic risk management plans.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and industry best practices for risk management.
- Ability to develop and monitor key risk and control indicators. Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and operational risk loss identification.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills for engaging with stakeholders and business partners.
- Familiarity with systems for defining, monitoring, and analyzing risk profiles and control strategies.
- Experience in conducting business impact analysis and stress testing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and building risk and fraud models.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Bilingual (Arabic and English) is a plus.
- A Saudi national is a mandatory requirement for this role.
