The Technology Team

Our technology team builds the platforms, systems, and payment infrastructure our merchants use to process millions of transactions daily.

This team is building technology solutions to simplify MENA payments regionally and globally for businesses of all sizes.

As a Tapster you will:

•  Build internal web and mobile tools to solve operational bottlenecks — using React Native, React, and AI-assisted development

• Design and deploy AI agents and automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, Retool, and similar platforms

• Leverage low-code and no-code platforms (Bubble, Webflow, AppGyver, Glide, etc.) to deliver solutions without requiring deep engineering effort

• Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT Code Interpreter) to write, review, and improve code faster

• Build and maintain internal dashboards and data-display tools that connect to Ops data sources

• Create workflow automations that reduce manual work for Finance, KYC, MX, and other internal teams

• Build API integrations between tools, pulling data into unified Ops views without full Engineering support

• Maintain and iterate on solutions already built — fixing bugs, improving UX, and adding features as operational needs evolve

• Document everything built using the Ops Dashboard's documentation standards

• Work closely with the Technical Writer to ensure all solutions are properly documented for handover 

What you will bring to the party:

•  Comfortable building functional apps and web interfaces using React Native / React — does not need to be senior-level but must be able to ship independently

• Hands-on experience with 2–3 no-code/low-code platforms such as Bubble, Retool, Webflow, Glide, AppGyver, Airtable, or similar

• Actively using AI coding tools in daily workflow — Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or equivalent

• Able to consume REST APIs, connect to webhooks, and understand JSON data structures

• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar

• Strong problem-solving mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and able to turn a described problem into a fast, viable solution

• Able to clearly explain what was built and why to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent self-taught / bootcamp background

• 0–3 years of experience — junior role; capability and curiosity matter more than years of experience

• Languages & Frameworks: React Native, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, basic Python

• No-Code / Low-Code: Bubble, Retool, Webflow, Glide, AppGyver, Airtable, Notion

• AI Development Tools: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, v0.dev, Bolt.new, Lovable

• Automation: n8n, Make (Integromat), Zapier, Activepieces

• API & Data: REST APIs, Postman, Webhooks, JSON, basic SQL

• Deployment: Vercel, Netlify, basic Docker awareness
